Privacy Policy

Last updated 5 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Pixtech Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website at pixtech.io.

We're committed to handling your data carefully and in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Pixtech Ltd is a software studio registered in England and Wales (company number 17162195). Our registered office is 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU.

For any questions about this policy or the data we hold on you, contact us at hello@pixtech.io.

What data we collect

Contact form

When you submit a contact form, we collect your name, email address, the services you've selected, and the message you send. We use this information to reply to your enquiry.

Job applications

If you apply for a role through our careers pages, we collect your name, email address, LinkedIn profile URL, the answers you provide to application questions, any optional public links you share, and a CV file (PDF, DOC, or DOCX). We use this to review your application and contact you about the role.

Newsletter

If you sign up for updates, we collect your email address so we can send you those updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to make the site work. We don't currently use any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard server log data — your IP address, the page you visited, the time of the request, and your browser's user-agent string — to keep the service running and to investigate abuse. These logs are retained for a short period before being deleted.

Why we collect it (lawful bases)

  • Contact form and enquiries: our legitimate interest in responding to your message.
  • Job applications: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract of employment.
  • Newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Essential cookies and server logs: our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website.

Where your data is stored

We use the following sub-processors:

  • Supabase — database and file storage. Data is hosted in the European Union (Ireland).
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS SES) — transactional email delivery, operated from the UK (London) region.
  • Vercel — website hosting and edge delivery. Server logs may be processed in regions outside the UK.

Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses to keep your data protected.

How long we keep it

  • Contact form submissions: retained for up to 24 months unless we're actively in contact about a project.
  • Job applications: retained for 6 months after the role closes, unless you ask us to keep your details on file longer.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
  • Server logs: retained for up to 30 days.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the sub-processors listed above, and only as needed to operate the website. If we're ever legally required to disclose data — for example, in response to a valid court order — we'll do so.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold on you.
  • Correct data that's inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your data, subject to limited exceptions.
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your data.
  • Receive a portable copy of the data you've provided to us.
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on consent as our lawful basis.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@pixtech.io. We'll respond within one calendar month.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we've handled your data unlawfully. Their website is ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the page when we do, and material updates will be flagged on the site. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
